This privacy policy describes how BQGolf uses and protects any information that is collected about competitors. This document describes exactly what information is collected, how it is safeguarded, and how you can control the way it is used.
BQSoft is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected, however BQSoft as such does not collect any personal information.
BQGolf users (golf clubs, golf competition organizers, etc.) collect personal information and store it locally. During a competition personal data may be transferred between the main computer of the BQGolf user and competitors’ mobile devices and/or their local computers.
Data collected by BQGolf users may be e-mailed to some or all competitors.
BQGolf users take full responsibility for safety of personal data they collect.
BQSoft may change this policy from time to time, and the latest version will be available on this page, or by accessing our privacy policy link from our website. If you downloaded the application from the Windows Store, a link to the latest privacy policy for the application is available within the description field for that application.


What information can be collected by users using BQGolf


BQGolf users may collect the following information:

1. Name,
2. Home Golf Club,
3. Golf Handicap,
4. Gender,
5. Age Category,
6. E-mail Address,
7. Telephone Number.

In order to properly manage a handicap competition, items 1 to 5 are mandatory.
For non-handicap competitions only 1 is mandatory.


Security

We are committed to the security of any information that our software collects and transmits over a network.


Data protection

All data transmitted between devices is fully encrypted using AES-256 encryption algorithm.
Data collected using the applications is not sold nor transferred to any third parties.


Controlling your personal information

You may choose to restrict the collection of personal information by contacting the particular BQGolf user.
